Reimbursement for Doula Training in Michigan

For trainings taken between October 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027, Michigan residents already participating in or interested in joining the Medicaid Doula Registry can apply to have training fees (up to $1500) fully reimbursed by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Learn more about the Doula RISE program.

Fees must be paid in full and all requirements for participation completed by the August deadline. Doulas may use this benefit to meet initial requirements to join the registry or as fulfillment of continuing education requirements.
