Hands-On Skills Practice Session for the Birth Doula Workshop

Please arrange to have another person on hand for the Saturday afternoon skills practice (1-4pm). Ideally, this should be someone who can practice the techniques as demonstrated with you so that each of you gets to be on both sides of giving and receiving. If you know another doula who would like to practice/attend or perhaps a pregnant friend, that would be ideal. But really, it can be anyone of your choosing.

Access to Live Online Workshops

Your chosen training dates appeared on the receipt you received from our system immediately after registering. Please make a note of these. If you need to change your dates, please give us as much advance notice as possible.

Tech Requirements for Live Workshops on Zoom

  • A reliable internet connection is required. It is recommended that you download the Zoom application on your computer in order to access all the functions we will be using. In addition, you must have audio and video enabled on your computer. Please do this well BEFORE the workshop and get help on your end if you need it. We're generally not able to troubleshoot from our end once class starts.
  • You will not be able to fully participate from a cell phone.
