Merilynne Rush

Merilynne will present a vast array of resources for low-income families, starting with the provisions outlined in the Older Americans Act of 1965, including the National Aging Network and the Administration on Aging at the federal level. Each state has a Unit on Aging which oversees the Area Agencies on Aging at the local level. What can doulas do to educate themselves? How can they be the best doula for as many people as possible, taking into consideration that even if clients can’t pay, there are certain things we can do to help. Bring your questions and share your experiences. See you soon.
