Many new EOL Doulas wish to learn from being a hospice volunteer. How can doulas build bridges with their local hospice and talk about EOL doulas? What can and can’t they do and say while working as a volunteer to prevent a conflict of interest? We’ll also discuss how hospice and EOL Doulas might collaborate and what the future of this work might look like, based on Merilynne’s discussions with doula trainers across the country through NEDA and NHPCO.
